The Community's Yarn Shop
The blessings come each day as you walk into the shop with smiles, gifts for the shop, ideas to improve the offering of yarn, suggestions for classes, volunteers helping stock shelves, furniture donations, and I could go on, but the point is the life of the shop has become a community effort.
Your pride in the shop shows with every kind word and gesture. So this is now a community yarn shop and its all because of you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, it is a pleasure to serve you in every way I can.

Feb. 29th-Beaded Lace Scarf Class
A Must Take Class!!!!
Vermont Bead Studio's Linda Yarrita Glazer and White River Yarns are collaborating to bring you a fabulous project and class on Leap Years Day from 6-9pm. (Time change)
We are doing a Louisa Harding knitted lace scarf. This an advanced intermediate class where you should be comfortable working the lace pattern on both sides and basic stitches such as K, P, YO, K2tog. The cable cast on will be taught at the beginning of class.
When you sign-up you can choose the beads and then order them from Linda at Vermont Bead Studio just around the corner on Gates Street. Linda has been making the scarf and enjoying it if you would like to talk with her about the scarf and order the beads. Beads must be ordered no later Feb. 20th to participate in the class.
Cost: $20.00 plus suppliesThis will be a great class and you will have a spectacular scarf.

Fun new yarns are all of the rage, I have already seen some of you use them in very interesting ways. So it occurred to me that we should celebrate the creativity of knitters and crocheters. I have tons of new show stopping yarns to make the most incredible creations.
From Jan 15th to Feb 15th make any of the above using novelty yarns exclusively or in combination with other yarns. The completed item must be brought to the shop to be displayed and votes cast, which will be from Feb 17th to Feb 29th. There will be three winners (one for each category).
Video Night begins March 21st and every 3rd Wed. of the month from 6-8pm.
